Majestic Monthly Birds

The ‘Majestic Monthly Birds' series portrays the king/queen of a month.
Not as rulers over their people or their subjects, but as kings/queens of their own lives.
Characterised by a closeness to nature and self-determination, they surrender to the flow of life and the cycles of nature.
They remind us to be ‘free as a bird’ and to take our lives into our own hands with courage.

The kings and queens are immortalised with graphite on paper (A4).
